Our client, a leader in the internet space is rapidly growing and is in search for a star QA Engineer to g uide the project team in delivering a quality software products through collaboration with the product owners, business analyst, project software architects and developers. If you meet the listed qualifications and consider yourself a star, please apply for this position. Responsibilties include.... Lead and coordinate the testing effort utilizing existing team members to achieve project goals and quality standards Coordinate, lead, write, and execute all testing related efforts, i.e. regression, functionality, script development, and load and stress testing when necessary Coordinate QA tasks and priorities for each project sprint Create and maintain master test plans for the project Research, identify, design, develop and maintain/enhance QA automation software as needed Identify necessary QA/testing environments. Monitor/administer the test-environment servers as needed. Monitor defect tracking for each project, ensuring proper follow-through and resolution of issues and provide high level defect tracking status updates Must be able to plan, implement and execute functional, integration, system, stress, load and performance tests in an agile environment May require overtime or off-peak hours in order to meet project commitments. Able to understand data warehousing tools and techniques (e.g. Kimball etc.). Hands-on experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence stacks (SSIS, SSAS and SSRS). Perform other related tasks as requested by management. Qualifications....Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline with a minimum of 6 years of experience as a QA Engineer/Sr. QA Engineer, or equivalent combination of education and experience A minimum of 2-3 years of experience Windows client/server and web based applications required with a programming background preferred Must have proven leadership ability with teams of 5+ people Must have strong experience and background in QA processes: development and implementation of documented process including automated and manual test processes, test case design, functional, integration, system and regression testing, entrance and exit criteria, metrics, reporting and status. Must have experience testing commercial software products with frequent release cycles Must be familiar with the Software Development Lifecycle. Experience with the Microsoft Solutions Framework and agile development methodologies are required Client/server and web based applications testing in a Windows environment required Test automation experience required Development experience in C#.net preferred.
