Our client, a leader in the internet space is rapidly growing and is in search for a star Data Warehouse Engineer to design and develop Warehousing solutions. Working with peers to carry out unit testing of new development Working with back-end programmers to develop database calls in SQL databases. Creates and maintains stored procedures, triggers, views and constraints to support systems and databases. Design and develop d ata Warehousing solutions (including Microsoft Business Intelligence stack [SSIS, SSAS, SSRS]) . Installs, updates, maintains, monitors and supports Data Warehouse/BI Tools, Databases to support all KBB Business units. Assessing new initiatives to determine the work effort and estimate the necessary time-to-completion. Creating test plans and scenarios for development unit testing. Documenting new development, procedures or test plans as needed. Participating in data builds and deployment efforts. Participating in projects through various phases. Performs other related duties as assigned by management . Qualifications... Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Information Systems or Computer Engineering Minimum of 4-6 years industry experience in Software Engineering, performing software development duties in a MS-platform, web-development environment or equivalent combination of education and experience. Utilize complex computer operations (intermediate programming in 3rd and 4th generation languages, relational databases, and operating systems and advanced features of software packages (word-processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.). Experience with object-oriented design and development principles within the .NET framework. S strong experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack (SSIR, SSRS and SSAS). Experience in programming using in C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, and Microsoft SQL. Experienced in data warehousing tools and techniques Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Experience with Agile and Scrum desirable. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team orientated environment. Ability to complete the full lifecycle of software development and deliver on time. Ability to work with end users to gather requirement and convert that to working documents. Strong interpersonal skills with a heads-up programming attitude. df-jb |
