Candidates must have two plus years of experience in physician billing and strong knowledge of ICD9 and CPT codes. Previous experience in internal medicine, cardiology and orthopedic billing is preferred. Medical Manager software knowledge is preferable. Great communication skills and the ability to multi-task are musts!

We have a medical business office on the near northside of Chicago that is seeking a Physician Biller. This Billing position requires two plus years of physician billing experience and knowledge of the modifiers and procedures within Physician billing. Strong knowledge of ICD9/CPT codes is required. Previous experience in internal medicine billing, cardiology billing, GI, and surgical billing is preferred. Electronic Billing background is required. Candidate must be familiar with medical software such as Medical Manager. Must have a detailed knowledge and understanding of ICD-9, CPT, and HCPCS coding classification systems, be familiar with medical terminology and its applications, and be familiar with insurance rules and regulations.
