We are looking for the following person to become a part of my our team. PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU QUALIFY, EDUCATION FROM A UNIVERSITY OR COLLEGE IS PREFERRED. HOURS ARE 4-10:30 MON THROUGH THURSDAY AND SAT 8:30-1:30. Under limited supervision, this position performs a variety of activities to support the admissions and matriculation function by performing work associated with the processing of admission files. This includes analyzing documentation requirements by program and by state requirements, customer service contact with students and institutions to proactively progress the student toward matriculation. This position also assists department staff to ensure admission files and University academic program information connected with these files are captured accurately in the University student systems. Primary Accountabilities NOTE: The primary accountabilities below are intended to describe the general content of and requirements of this position and are not intended to be an exhaustive statement of duties. Incumbents may perform all or most of the primary accountabilities listed below. Specific tasks or responsibilities will be documented in the incumbents' performance objectives as outlined by the incumbents' immediate supervisor or manager. Primary Accountabilities: 1. Quality checks admissions files for international, domestic, and re-entry applicants, pulling student information into the system to ensure scheduling and financial actions can occur in the system. Tracks files for pending items through to matriculation. 2. Enters, maintains and tracks all related information and documents as a part of the admissions process. 3. Facilitates the student admissions intake process to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Receives and verifies admissions documents for completeness and accuracy as established by internal standards and operating procedures. 4. Delivers completed admission files to the Admission Evaluator for matriculation and monitoring the file through the matriculation process. Performs the Non Credit Bearing Activities to qualify the applicant for admission. 5. Interprets and analyzes University Admissions policies and procedures, which includes but is not limited to, admissions/matriculation, transcript evaluation, program/versions. 6. Provides guidance and support to Enrollment staff and other campus personnel regarding admissions requirements and policy, as well as information on where to locate information in University computer applications to find the status of the admissions file. 7. Generates reports for action on files and notifies the student of any outstanding documentation or information that is necessary to complete the admissions and matriculation process. Initiates customer service inquiries to external institutions for status of pending transcripts. 8. Acts as a liaison between campus and student regarding transcript holds and appropriate actions that need to be taken. 9. Establishes and maintains student admission and matriculation status by tracking activities throughout the admissions process. Performs research in response to inquiries and concerns regarding student admissions matters.df-jb |
