| Qualifications: |
• 1- 3 years of experience in a facility and machinery maintenance position • Excellent safety awareness including Lockout Tag Out process, barricades and knowing personal limitations. • Accuracy, follow-through, and attention to detail are essential skills. • Good communication skills in oral and written form and work attendance. • Able to drive a forklift • General mechanical and fabrication abilities in wood, metal, plastics and glass. • Able to multitask and work well with team and other departments. • Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs and work using lifts/ladders at heights, on back, into tight spaces. • Must be able to search the internet sites for parts and/or call suppliers to verify parts accuracy and costs. • Must be able to read maintenance, safety documentation including drawings, schematics and procedures. • Must maintain clean valid California automobile drivers license • Working knowledge of word/Excel for data entry Must be able to submit to and pass Drug and Background screens E.O.E.

| Job/Project Details: |
This position performs maintenance service and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, drywall, machine servicing, light electrical, plumbing and janitorial servicing. Has working knowledge of good safety practices in each area of maintenance. Requires minimum of 1-3 years of maintenance related experience. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, procedures and tools within each particular field. Works under supervision/Primary job functions requires exercising independent judgment on safety, technique and productivity. Maintenance worker maintains accurate records of maintenance activities. This position reports to Fabrication Manager.df-jb |
