Financial Company in Lake Forest is currently in need of candidates for a 30-45 day project. Please attach your resume in Word format when applying for this position. Requirements that candidates must meet: Minimum of 4 years of accounting or finance experience. Strong working knowledge of commercial banking products. Loan Payment Specialist job description: Qualifications Ensure proper accounting of loan-related transactions including, but not limited to: loan payments, fees, charges, escrow payments and reversals. Reconcile, analyze and compile reports and accounts of a complex nature. Review financial documentation and accounting data for completeness, accuracy and conformance. Review and approve all loan level transaction entries at the loan level. Ability to understand loan payment processes and translate that understanding into policy, procedures and actionable steps. Must be highly organized with strong ability to multi-task; must have analytical orientation with superior attention to detail. Strong working knowledge of commercial banking products. Accept and perform other duties and responsibilities as required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products: Excel, Word, and Access. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Duties Under general direction, the loan payment specialist is responsible for applying accounting knowledge and theory to support the company's Commercial Services needs in a variety of accounting functions, including, but not limited to: recording, classifying, examining and analyzing specialized financial transactions within loan servicing. df-jb |
