EXPORT FREIGHT ANALYST Essential Functions/Responsibilities . Work with internal departments to identify and schedule upcoming shipments from domestic and international suppliers to overseas destinations. . Preparation of shipping documentation in accordance with U.S. and international customs requirements as well as any letter of credit requirements. . Maintenance of shipping records in accordance with GE and government record retention requirements. . Proactively work with internal suppliers to forecast and prepare shipping and documentation requirements . Monitor shipments to provide status updates to business as required/requested. . Assist with the coordination of material shipped directly from suppliers to international customer job-sites. . Monitor freight billed versus quoted to ensure proper cost management. . Tracking direct shipping costs and allocating them by project, function, including preparation of monthly metrics and financial accruals. . Process simplification to streamline operations while maintaining sufficient controllership over Logistics expenditures.df-jb |
