Job/Project Details: We are currently seeking to fill a Data Modeler/Data Quality Analyst position for our client in Chicago, IL. We invite you to review the position requirements below and apply today if your skills match our need. Overview: This role will be responsible for producing and maintaining conceptual and logical data models, and physical data architecture of operational data stores, data warehouses and data marts. The position will also perform root cause analysis on data quality cases as assigned. Responsibilities: - Analyze business and functional requirements of assigned projects and translate into technical specifications and data rules required for the construction of a data mart, data warehouse or operational data store. - Analyze sample data and produce relational or dimensional model based on the data - Develop data models for new databases. - Enhance existing data model and update the corresponding database. - Keep all documentation (business and technical metadata, data models, guidelines and standards, etc., processes) current - Perform root cause analysis on data quality cases as assigned. - Work under supervision of DQ tech lead to determine and document solution(s) for data quality problems.
