We are currently searching for Mortgage Loan Processor candidates with a minimum of 2 years recent experience in any Mortgage Loan Processing Position. Positions include Loan Specialist I and Loan Specialist II, please view the following description and if you feel you are a good fit please send your resume to [email address hidden] Loan Specialist I The Loan Specialist I assists the team by performing routine, clerical and non-clerical tasks essential to efficient workflow and the mortgage loan process. Duties may include ensuring loan files are properly assembled, packaged and shipped within preset timeframes. A Loan Specialist will also perform general office support duties to include answering phones, operating office equipment, preparing outgoing mail and filing. A Loan Specialist is a processor carrying a pipeline of routine finance types or loan programs. Responsibilities Include: - Recommitting the loan upon file receipt - Reviewing the loan file for completeness - Ensuring that minimum documentation efficiencies are utilized - Preparation of the initial disclosure package Loan Specialist II The Loan Specialist II utilizes the decision of underwriting to gather credit documentation from the customer and third party vendors necessary to support the loan approval decision. The role of an LSII is to work in partnership with the customer and related third parties to clear conditions and ready the transaction for loan closing within service delivery timeframe standards. Responsibilities will include: - Gathers credit and other documents from the customer and third parties in support of the loan approval decision. Responsible for loan processing. Assures that loans are processed in accordance with company policy and procedure. Reviews incoming documentation within 24 hours of receipt. - Inputs/updates data into GOS; may complete GOS underwriter screens. - Prepares the transaction for closing by ordering payoffs as applicable and gathering accurate 3rd party fees from the closing agent. May coordinate the closing date with the customer. - Communicates pro-actively with the customer, related business partners and sales. Executes the Welcome, Follow-Up and Approval calls to the customer per workflow standards. Ensures that GOS comments are completed. - Escalates any issues impacting decision to Underwriter or Unit Supervisor. - Dispositions non-funded loans in a timely and accurate manner. Updates GOS, requests the appropriate refund from Accounts Payable, as necessary, completes the Notice of Action Taken, and prepares any checklists necessary and forwards the file to the Shipper.
