Job/Project Details: Successful, dynamic, entrepreneurial real estate development and lending company is seeking an Assistant Property Manager/Property Accountant & Office Manager. College degree required (not AA, must be BA or BS). Small yet fast paced office provides a great learning environment. Successful applicant needs to have 3-5 years minimum. Commercial Real Estate experience is highly preferred. Need someone quick, proactive, a team player, with a strong work ethic. Responsibilities: Property bookkeeping .Working knowledge of Peachtree or other Accounting software knowledge Investor Relations Property budget preparation Tenant NNN reconciliations Document control for property acquisition, disposition, financing, refinancing Knowledge of construction draws a plus Compile and prepare various reports for executive use, as needed Perform additional miscellaneous assignments per executives' direction Special projects Manage office equipment (photocopier, fax, phone system, supplies, furniture, computers) Organizing and maintaining files, including photocopying as necessary Transmissions of information (fax, email, overnight mail, messenger, US mail) Coordination and reservations for travel Coordinate meetings Schedule of calendars and contact database in MS Outlook Draft and maintain correspondence Act as host to business guests; ask and serve refreshments if appropriate Set up before, and clean up after business meetings and or luncheons Qualifications: College degree required Computer literate in Windows, MS Office including Word, Excel (Need to know how to work with formulas), PowerPoint, Outlook. Knowledge of accounting software and Web design maintenance a plus Able to prioritize workload, multi task and support multiple team members Knowledge of general business and corporate procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential Self-starter, good communicator, professional, organized Bookkeeping skills required Organized, detail/deadline-oriented, and team player attitude (A test for applicants is do they know the definition of debits and credits and give an example of what each does to the balance sheet and what are NNN reconciliations and have they ever completed NNN reconciliations from beginning to end....if they know this, client does not want to see them) Benefits include paid parking, optional HMO or PPO medical reimbursement, paid vacation.df-jb
