| Qualifications: |
Minimum 3 years of analysis, support and maintenance experience. Minimum 2 years of experience with VB6 or VB.NET based applications required. Experience with distributed applications and client/server applications is required. Experience with data synchronization and flat file/batch processing is required. Experience throughout the software development life cycle, including applying structured methodology to analysis, programming, and testing. Ability to contribute to the development and documentation of the following: data models, detailed programming specifications and timelines, system testing plans, integration testing plans, and unit testing plans. Ability to work in a distributed environment, facilitating requirements definition with a geographically disperse organization. Experience in the execution of Joint Application Development sessions Large/medium systems analysis experience essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as analytical skills are essential.

| Job/Project Details: |
The Systems Analyst works closely with Programmer Analysts, IT Operations and Service Desk support staff. Provides applications support and serves as the primary escalation contact from IT Operations and Service Desk organizations. Plays a critical role by teaming with IT Operations and Support to provide support to branches and regional offices to assist in problem solving and resolution of production system issues. Responsible for Level 2 and Level 3 support for assigned systems/applications. In addition, the systems analyst models and documents business requirements and functional specifications to be used in the development of enabling technology and information systems. Must be a self-starter who is able to work independently with minimal supervision; Good written and oral communications skills are required as the position involves interaction with the business community on a regular basis. Works with Programmer Analysts and manager to provide analytical support to internal and external business clients to ensure the optimization of business processes throughout the development/enhancement of business systems applications. Acts as the in-house functional expert or system administrator on assigned applications and systems . Design and document the system requirements with UML Diagramming of OO Systems: Class/Object Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, State Diagrams, Packages and Collaborations; Create test plans and test cases for modules and conducts functional tests with language appropriate tools; proficient in test management tools and test documentation. Translate new process designs and requirements into usable systems-related information, providing analytical support to business clients, and ensuring business solutions (both manual and automated components) support the targeted business needs. Candidate will ensure business solutions do not have negative impact on interdependent systems, provide level 2 and 3 support to the business unit, and evaluate and make recommendations regarding continuous improvement of internal and external processes/procedures; Participate in user specification gathering sessions; create comprehensive functional and technical specifications using appropriate tools and methodologies, such as Unified Modeling Language (UML); identifies requirement priorities and tracks future phase requirements; manages requirements gathering process. Work closely with Sr. System Analysts and counterparts in the IT Operations group to develop, maintain and report on service level agreements with the business community. Provide oral and written status reports to IT management and customers. Monitor and execute test runs of programs to ensure the actual output is identical to expected output. Manage time effectively, prioritizing and escalating tasks and issues as necessary Works with the Programmer Analysts to ensure that the business community is effectively trained in the use of the assigned applications/systems.
