Qualifications:
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the architecture, design, development, programming and troubleshooting of windows desktop and server software components and systems in both new and existing state-of-the-art medical products. Key Responsibilities: In this role you will utilize your knowledge design, develop, and participate in the creation of software for a variety of devices. Working directly with business analysts, you will define product requirements and the architecture of software solutions. Utilizing your leadership skills, you will lead the conversion of these requirements into detailed design specifications. You will be a hands-on leader, working with small teams to integrate new features into existing products, and developing the next generation products. Required Background: In addition to a BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering, a successful track record of at least 5 years of experience in a software product development environment is required for this role. Prior medical device industry experience is a plus. Strong Windows programming experience is required. VC++ and C# experience is a plus. Experience with COM, ActiveX, COM+, HTTP, HTML, JavaScript, VBScript, ASP, XML,/XSL is a must. Database experience such as MS Access, SQL server, SQL, and ADO is necessary. Communication Protocols and localization experience is a plus. You must have excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills and thrive in a team environment.
