Initially this is a contract position for 6mos to a possible permanent job with a great benefit package. Job Summary: A Senior I.T. Manager position, responsible for the overall strategic direction and success of a IT Product Development PM department. The incumbent will ensure that department goals are achieved while maximizing opportunities to achieve the mission of the organization. The incumbent will drive continual process improvements and strategic guidance in the area of project management for IT infrastructure related projects.. General Job Duties: Help set strategic direction for a department within the IT organization and drive the development and standardization of program management related processes. Ensure that training, coaching and mentoring programs are developed, implemented and effective for all staff. Assist with establishing and implementing IT operations, systems, policies and procedures that achieve the directives and strategies set by the CIO, CEO and Board of Directors. Function as a strong contributor to the IT management team, participating in special projects and task forces as required. Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values, philosophy and culture of the organization. Perform other duties as required. Education/Experience Requirements : Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field. 5 years minimum of experience in the IT field. 3 years minimum IT management experienced. Demonstrated ability of successfully leading complex IT projects. Ability to successfully implement and control budgets.
