Position : RF Design engineer for Low Band Receiver section Start Date : 2 June, 2008 End Date : 29 August, 2008 US Citizen Required Location: EL Segundo, CA Rates: DOE Job Description: The Surveillance & Reconnaissance Department is looking for an Analog/RF engineer to work with and/or to lead an electrical design team. The design team is responsible for specification, design and testing of hardware including Receiver sub-system, frequency source, reference distributor and LO generator. The hardware engineer is responsible for all technical aspects of the project including worst case circuit analysis, specification/interface definition, technical oversight, performance to requirements, generation of Design Requirement documents, Acceptance Requirement Document and customer/systems engineering interface. Responsibilities include managing the Receiver Technical team priorities and directing tasks in support of Design Analysis, Design Closure, System Deliveries, STE development, technical issues resolution with vendors and management. Duties include preparing technical proposals with cost estimates, control of the technical data packages, customer & process required documentation including specifications and test procedures. The design engineer will also have responsibility for the budget and schedule of his team, proper execution of the projects and maintain and report work products on a weekly basis. Required Skills: At least 8 years of Receiver sub-system design, analysis and test experience. At least 3 years of experience providing technical leadership to small teams of Electrical Engineers to develop & integrate military electronics hardware. Good communication skills with experience working with external vendors, customers and internal program managers. Able to develop & carry out proactive strategies and juggle multiple parallel design/development efforts. Must Required Skills : Under Graduate Degree : 5+ Years Company Experience : 5+ Years PLS NOTE: The work schedule at this location is 9/80, nine business days/80 hours of work.df-jb |
