Source code/object code control and documentation control (i.e. Source Safe, MKS, Documentum, etc.) •2+ years experience with Change Management process. •6+ years development experience with two or more programming languages (i.e. C, Java, Visual Basic, etc.) •6+ years in software development doing maintenance and new development. •2+ years in developing, managing and administrating server based systems. •2+ years Experience with Python, including shell / command scripts. •3+ Years Software development experience with IDEs such as JBuilder, MS Visual Studio, Eclispe. Job/Project Details: GENERAL JOB FUNCTION: TRASYS, Inc. is currently seeking a Configuration Manager for a long term contract position in Cincinnati, OH. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: •Configuration Management consists of identifying, controlling, and maintaining all related building blocks of the work product and supporting of work tools used by an engineer. •Items placed under Configuration Management include the products as well as all items required to create and to support the product during construction or maintenance, including changes to documentation and software. •Support of work tools include learning technologies in the construction or maintenance of software and documentation. •Provide Tool/process support for source code management and version control activities (i.e. set up of groups into tool, client installs, etc) . •Develop code to automate build and deployment activities •Troubleshoot issues associated with build/deployment activities (i.e. application, environment, etc.) •Provide technical support of BMC Remedy application (Tool used for Change, Release, Incident, Problem, CMDB, and Asset Management).
