Job/Project Details: Private Medical Device Firm in South Orange County is looking to place a Mechanical Inspector position. Need someone with strong measuring capabilities. This position would be temp to hire and paying $18-20 per hour. Duties include: Evaluate product returned from the field Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspection using optical comparator, calipers, micrometer, scale, electronic balance, pin gages, universal material tester (tensil/compression tester), workmanship standards, etc Train other performing inspections and helps others interpret inspection requirements Write inspection and test instruction Education and Experience Mechanical Inspector Strong Measuring Capabilities BA/BS is a plus Proficient with PC and MS Office Applications ASQ, CQT, CQI or CCT Certification is a Plus 3 years minimum Mechanical Inspection experience Medical device/manufacturing experience is a plusdf-jb
