Smart IT is seeking Information Technology (IT) professionals with experience working with Datastage to perform in the role of ETL Developer for our client located in Fairfield, Ohio. Positions are available on a right-to-hire agreement (3 or 6 month contract) or long-term contract. During the contract period, Smart IT employees are eligible to receive insurance coverage, paid holidays and paid time off! Job Description: Analyze, design, build, test and implement extracts, transforms and loads (i.e. the facilitation of data movement across platforms) utilizing Stored Procedures or an ETL Tool. Skill Requirements: Dynamic, professional, team-oriented, self-motivated individual; Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science or related discipline; 3+ years ETL development experience; Experience with DB2 UDB and Utilities; Experience with Data Stage; Experience with multi-platform environments and languages including Cobol, OS/390, NT, AIX and Korn Shell scripting language; Strong understanding of Data Warehouse Concepts, including star schemas; Proficient in PL SQL; experience with use of a Reporting Tool (Actuate) and OLAP Technologies (Hyperion) a plus; Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills; Ability to work on multiple assignments; Able to trouble shoot, debug and problem solve at the highest level; ability and desire to mentor others. Experience in Stored Procedures or an ETL Tool across multiple platforms is required. Experience in OLAP and Reporting Tool Technologies a plus.
