Job/Project Details: A very well known non-profit hospital provider is seeking a Systems Integration Specialist. This hospital has a diverse community across Arizona, California, and Nevada. HL7 System Integration Specialist The System Integration Specialist will be responsible for the following: Provide full lifecycle software development and operational support within a large healthcare account. Perform design, development, and support for healthcare data exchange leveraging HL7 Messaging. Experience with interface engine based HL7 messaging. Strong operational support skills to troubleshoot and debug issues with HL7 interfaces leveraging multiple data integration techniques and integration engines. Must be able to maintain a strong customer service focus during interactions with healthcare application support specialists to understand requirements and develop new programs on the IBM AIX platform and Oracle. Must be able to clearly communicate project requirements and issues to Management, Customers and Vendors as required. Required Skills: 2 years of general application development and/or application support experience. 2 years general exposure to system integration involving healthcare data exchange using HL7 structure messaging formats. Ability to learn new technologies quickly. Effective oral and written communication skills are required. Desired Skills: Meditech exposure Healthcare Application development or support experience preferred. Desire to learn new technologies related to healthcare data exchange.
