Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assists customers during the connection process: o Provides additional hands-on assistance and training to ensure customer understands initial reconcile process, overall processes and navigation of their site. o Researches and responds to carrier discrepancy reports, verifying correct plan structure and making appropriate updates to get electronic feeds in production within a timely manner. o Tracks implementation process systematically from beginning to end using internal tools and resources. Assists existing customers with operational support in the form of email and phone communication: o Identifies and resolves customer production issues by troubleshooting and analyzing plan setup. o Works with carriers to ensure the accuracy of electronic eligibility processes. o Provides ongoing training of customers on the full utilization of features, including (but not limited to): training new HR users, emphasizing features/resources and making enhancements for customer. o Reviewing audit results completed by Data Auditor, forwarding to customer for their resolution and offering support. o Explaining and completing uploads (updating demographic information, volume updates, Hidden Paycheck, adding demographic data). o Fine tunes design per customers request including (but not limited to): plan message or other messages, hiding benefit blocks, hiding/requiring fields, separating new hire change types, adding/changing plan types, logos, , adding new fields, separating by location, linking benefits/group numbers, verifying/updating FSA contributions dates/lag times. o Acts as spokeperson/advocate for customers and brokers to communicate software bugs or new functionality requests to the Engineering staff o Uses effective communication skills to manage a successful customer relationship. o Executes complex configuration changes in response to customer or carrier needs throughout the year, including demographic or account structure changes. Responsible for system setup, testing and production of plan year renewal changes: o Builds new plan/benefit/rate structure. o Reconfigures current plan/benefit/rate structure. o Initiates and completes carrier connections. o Analyzes alternative Open Enrollment processes to meet customers needs. o Imports new enrollments as necessary. Internal Support: o Assists Carrier Liaison in completion of daily carrier discrepancy reports. o Acts as a back-up to Benefit Specialist and Implementation Specialist for phone/email assistance. o Acts as a customer liaison for engineering, EDI, sales, and management inquiries. Job Related Qualifications Strong telephone skills and knowledge of business and email etiquette Self motivated, ability to multi-task Ability to build and maintain relationships Ability to communicate professionally and courteously, both written and oral Strong time management, organization and presentation skills Proficiency in software applications: Microsoft Office Knowledge of employee benefits and insurance carrier processes Education/Work Experience Human Resources/Employee Benefits experience Experience with an intricate application support system is hdf-jb |
