Job Summary An IT support position providing PC, Network and Server Break Fix assistance to help site to successfully deploy an onboard computing project. II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be dependable and self-motivating demonstrating an aptitude for troubleshooting and resolving PC, network and server related issues. Other minor duties may be assigned and may vary by department. . Resolves IT related issues in a timely manner and implements enterprise project deliverables at a basic to intermediate technical level. . Works with moderate supervision to ensure user satisfaction by providing installation, configuration, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and quickly resolving problems with a focus on customer satisfaction. . Supports non-PC hardware such as printers, servers, network equipment (LAN/WAN/WIFI), and onboard computing technologies. . Updates or resolves issues in PC images used by onboard computing tablet. . Regularly interacts and communicates with Field IT Management, Project Manager, and the market area's Technical Support Analyst. . Coordinates with multiple vendors/departments/field staff to identify technical requirements and, if necessary, procure IT equipment including: hardware, software, and technical services. . Participates in project execution and rollouts. A. Education and Experience Required: A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or similar area of study, and one to five years of equivalent technical support experience. (or equivalent) B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements Preferred: A+, MCSE, Microsoft Deployment Toolkit C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required Basic skills in the following areas are essential: Customer Service, remote technical support, hardware and software, computer maintenance, networking, implementation and maintenance of LAN/WAN/WIFI, all Microsoft Operating Systems, Microsoft Office products, backup systems and applications, reporting and document control, communication, and time management. df-jb |
