Job/Project Details: A market research firm which provides detailed industry data and research services to the power equipment market is currently seeking a Market Analyst/Language Specialist. Their clients include Agricultural, Construction, Lawn & Garden, Marine and Recreational Product Manufacturers. Position Objective: To develop a sales database of Construction Equipment Models for various Countries around the world. Market Analyst/Language Specialist Responsibility: This role will be to conduct surveys of Construction Equipment Dealers in their respective Country with the primary focus of collecting information relative to sales volumes for 2007 & 2008 Construction Equipment Models. Candidates must have a desire to collect information and conduct surveys over the phone. We are looking for a go-getter who has strong communication skills, the ability to make cold phone calls for gathering information, is able to work independently without much assistance, and is not afraid to make suggestions or ask questions. Requirements: B.A./B.S. Fluent in Spanish and English and have proficiency in MS Excel *This will be a contracted position (ranging from 3-6 months); potentially could lead to a permanent position with marketing research firm.
