Quality Inspector Medical Device (Cal-Hie) Location: Redwood City. CA 94063 Pay: Job Description, but not limited to: Use of high-power microscope Interpret, read and understand blue prints, drawings and specifications and knowledge of International Standards including ISO 9001. Examines production documents to ensure that all assembly, inspecting, and testing steps were performed according to specifications. Perform inspections of mechanical parts (metals, plastics, and rubber) utilizing micrometers, calipers, height gauge, CMM and other precision measuring instruments. Identify issues and communicate to the appropriate individuals. Thorough working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerances, work orders and other documentation to determine acceptance or rejection standards. Document non-conformance material. In-depth knowledge of measuring complex parts. The ability to read and decipher and interprets drawings per ANSI GD&T standards. Good communication skills; Work with minimal supervision; Able to get along with subordinates and peers; Basic computer skills Have good recordkeeping practices per FDA, cGMP requirements.
