Electronic Tech Looking for a stable job in an unstable economy? A fast paced manufacturing company is looking for qualified Electronic Tech's! DESCRIPTION: Performs electro/mechanical test and troubleshooting duties on printed circuit board assemblies, medical sensors and monitoring devices utilizing various types of test equipment and fixtures. Utilizes written test procedures and forms to execute tests and record results. Enters/ records test data and results to appropriately document pass / failure results, repair history, and collect trend data. Outcomes: The successful candidate will: . Test electronic and electro-mechanical sub-assemblies, printed circuit board assemblies, medical sensors and devices. . Trouble-shoot electronic assemblies to component level using electronic test equipment such as digital voltmeters, oscilloscopes, custom test equipment and automated test systems. . Utilize schematics, test procedures, theory of operation documents and other sources of technical data to test, trouble-shoot and repair electronic devices. . Make repairs to circuit boards that utilize both through hole and surface mount technologies. . Document test results; records test data and device repair history as required. . Identify discrepancies between data recorded and expected results, to appropriately disposition products that do not meet acceptance criteria. . Perform assembly duties as required during the course of test and trouble-shooting activities. . Work with engineering associates as necessary to provide data in the resolution of technical issues. Take responsibility to execute their personal development plan to grow within current role and prepare for future roles. QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION: ASEE or two year electronics school certification. EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2 years experience as an electronic technician involved with the test and repair of electro-mechanical devices and instrumentation. Component level trouble-shooting and repair. Experience in regulated manufacturing environment preferred. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This position requires the ability to stand, bend, sit and walk on a frequent basis in order to perform the essential functions of the job.
